Few days ago I was browsing casually and looking for some SEO advices then I landed at NVI: Montreal Web Design Firm web site. It really attracted me from the beginning with its modern looking design and intuitive navigation. I contacted them for what I wanted and felt glad that they responded in very short time.

Being on top of search engines results page is important for every one of us and here they come to help us out. They provide all the best solutions and practices to reach great rankings on every major search engine.

- Content Management System - in modern internet business we all need a piece of these. Modifying your content easily and without much effort is vital for your success.

- Corporate Branding Strategy – branding your business the right way should be a key factor in your strategy. Having your own name, logo and identity will help you stand from the crowd.

At the end I had all my questions answered and had more time dealing with my programming.

Silverlight 2 Beta 2 is hereYesterday was published the latest release of Silverlight 2 which is actually Beta2. Beta2 adds a lot of new features (more details below), but is still a 4.6 MB download that takes less than 10 seconds to install on a machine. It does not require the .NET Framework or any other software to be installed for it to work, and all features work cross-browser on both Mac and Windows machines. These features will also be supported on Linux via the Moonlight 2 release.

Here is a short list of the improvements:

1. WCF templates for Silverlight Enabled.
2. Build configurations.
3. XAML Validation now reports build errors.
4. Setup Improvements.
5. Projects created in Beta 1 are prompted for conversion when opening to Beta 2.
6. Linking a Web Site to a Silverlight Application.

You can build Silverlight Beta2 applications using the VS 2008 Tools for Silverlight and Expression Blend 2.5 June Preview downloads. You can download both of them here. The VS 2008 Tools for Silverlight download works with both VS 2008 and the recent VS 2008 SP1 beta release.

New version of Coolite 0.5.0 available for downloadWay back in February we posted about the upcoming Coolite controls. With great pleasure today I have noticed on their web site that the new version 0.5.0 is available for download.

Some of the new features include a whole bunch of new controls added as well as updated source libraries of ExtJS.

There has been a change also to licensing, as now we have both Community and Professional license.

I am really exited because I had my hands on it before it was released so I spend some time testing it. So far haven’t noticed a problem. You can get it from here.

Good work guys!
